Anche un piccolo gesto può fare la differenza, perché in fondo, tutto fa brodo.
“Even a small gesture can make a difference, because in the end, everything counts.”

Put It In the Soup
“Tutto fa brodo” is an Italian phrase that literally translates to “everything makes broth.” Much like “every little bit helps” in English, it is an adage used to express the idea that every little thing contributes to the overall outcome. Just as in cooking, where all ingredients, even scraps and leftovers, can be used to create a flavorful broth, in life or work, every effort, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, adds value and contributes to success.
We see and recognize contributions and know that no effort is wasted. We make the most out of what we have. Even minor actions or moments matter and can have a profound impact.
Overall, “tutto fa brodo” embodies a philosophy of valuing all parts of a process and recognizing that collective small efforts lead to meaningful results. Many hands make light work, after all.

An Open Door
Please note, however, that when we say, “All are welcome,” we mean all who intend no harm. We believe in the paradox of intolerance and that to be truly tolerant, we must deny tolerance to those who promote intolerance. Therefore, there is no place at our table for racists, sexists, bigots, any flavor of queerphobes, and so on.
“No TERFs, no SWERFs, no N*zis in Valhalla,” as many in the Norse community say.
Wrapping Up with Key Insights
While we have members across Ansteorra — and, indeed, across the Knowne World — we were founded in Bryn Gwlad (MKA Austin, Texas). BG’s motto is “Strength in Diversity” and we embrace this concept wholeheartedly.
We choose to be welcoming. We choose to be kind. We choose to be the best versions of ourselves.
We hope that you will come sit at our table, too.
